My Day At The Kitchen Store

Today was the day! I had waited for six weeks until I could save up enough from my paycheck to purchase what I wanted for the kitchen. There was a kitchen specialty store at the mall I was going to enjoy visiting.

The first item on my list was a countertop microwave. The one I have is old and not all the buttons work anymore. I was looking forward to purchasing a newer model. A lot of time had been saved every week by my using that kitchen tool.

There was such a huge selection that it took time to make my final decision. The one I finally decided upon had more features to it than my old one had. It even had a couple features that I had not known were available. Loading the one I chose into my cart, I started looking for the baking dish area.

I had to purchase a cake pan. My last one was loaned out and had not yet been returned. There were many aisles to look at so I started my search. Here again there were many choices to choose from. I baked too often not to have at least one of these in my kitchen.

I walked down row after row looking at all the choices. Every brand I had ever heard of was here, many in a variety of shapes. Then at the end of the third row I had gone down one caught my eye. This would fit in for everyday as well as many holidays as it was a heart cake pan. This pan would fit in well with my other baking paraphernalia too. I also needed some spatulas so I went looking for them.

Taking care of my purchases was exciting for me. I wanted to use them all right away. Reheating a bowl of rice in my new microwave would have to do for now. It only took a minute for my leftovers and I knew that I would save a lot of time with this unit on the nights I did not care to cook.

It was too late to bake so I put the rest of my new kitchen items away. There was a bake sale coming up in a few weeks where I could put them to use. Happy with my choices, I knew they would fit well in my kitchen.
